Dealing with hair loss is a very individual experience; some people like to wear a wig while others find hats, scarves and turbans to be more comfortable and attractive. Deciding what is right for you is the most important thing.

About our Service
We offer a private wig and turban fitting with a range of wigs and headwear to choose from. The service, including the wig and/or turbans, is at no cost and delivered by trained volunteers.
We provide
- A selection of high quality synthetic wigs in different styles and colours
- A range of soft, fabric turbans generously sewn by our volunteers
- A wig fitting with one of our trained volunteers
- An appointment in a private and supportive environment
Where can I find the service?
All Cancer Council Queensland offices and lodges offer the service. The days and hours of operation are specific to each location.Call Cancer Council 13 11 20 to find out when a service is available near you.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. The service is by appointment only. The service is run by volunteers and this helps us to make sure we have a volunteer available.

Wig donation
