Volunteer with Cancer Council Queensland

Help us to lead Queenslanders in a partnership against cancer.

Our volunteers are an integral part of our mission to reduce the burden of cancer across Queensland. Every day, they’re on the ground providing essential support to people in the community living with, and impacted by, cancer.

Cancer Council Queensland offers a variety of volunteer roles to suit people with different skills. You could be helping someone going through cancer treatment to find the perfect wig or turban, or driving them to their medical appointments. We also have corporate volunteer roles available in our offices, assisting with administrative duties, or public roles which involve spreading hope at our fundraising events. We offer volunteer opportunities right across Queensland, from city centres such as Brisbane and Cairns, to country towns.
