Investing in cancer research is a key strategic priority of Cancer Council Queensland. Through Cancer Council Queensland, our donors and supporters contribute to the global research effort to create a cancer free future.
The Viertel Cancer Research Centre is CCQ’s in-house cancer research unit. The centre leads and collaborates in national and international research to improve our understanding of cancer including cancer in children, to reduce inequity in cancer outcomes in our population, and to better support cancer patients and their families.
Below you will find snapshots of all recent peer-reviewed and published research papers that the Viertel Cancer Research Centre has led or in which it has collaborated. Please click on a tile to read more about our research in the program areas of Cancer Epidemiology (blue), Childhood Cancer (purple) and Health Systems and Behavioural Research (red).
