It’s that time again Queensland. Time for a cuppa, a bite to eat and raise money to support Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. This year, we’re encouraging Queenslanders to host a traditional, virtual or socially distanced morning tea. Whether gathering physically or virtually, it’s a chance for friends, family and workmates to share a cup of tea and a bite to eat in support of those in our community impacted by cancer. The funds you raise help run our vital support services, lifesaving cancer research projects and educational prevention programs.
In 2021 there’s extra incentive to host a morning tea with major prizes being awarded from our partners WIN Network and Channel 10.
WIN Network is offering the chance to win a 7-night holiday to Norfolk Island. To enter, simply register and host a morning tea and post a video to Facebook or Instagram with the hashtag #cancercouncilqld.
Channel 10 has two prizes on offer. You could win a trip for two to Melbourne with lunch at Masterchef judge Andy Allen’s Three Blue Ducks restaurant or your own morning tea for twenty people catered by Three Blue Ducks with Andy popping in to say hello via Zoom.
