Ipswich Relay For Life postponed due to weather

Important Information
Cancer Council Queensland’s Ipswich Relay For Life, set to be held this weekend at Jim Finimore Oval, has been postponed due to heavy rain and flooding in the region.

Cancer Council Queensland spokesperson Katie Clift said the 18-hour overnight event will be postponed until further notice.

“Due to flooding at the Oval, it’s in our best interest to postpone the event for the safety of the participants,” Ms Clift said.

“We thank the community for their understanding and support, and we look forward to announcing a new date for Ipswich Relay For Life in the coming days.”
