‘Tis the season – the shopping season, that is.
Christmas is just a month away, and tomorrow, November 25 is Shopping Reminder Day, reminding us all that it’s time to check our lists twice to ensure we’ve bought all our gifts.
If you’re stuck for ideas on what to buy family and friends, or need to add an item to your own wish list, Cancer Council Queensland has last-minute gift ideas that not only make shopping simple, but benevolent too.
Cancer Council Queensland CEO Ms Chris McMillan explained that the charity’s stores, provided retail therapy for a good cause, with all proceeds invested into cancer research, support and prevention programs.
Queenslanders can shop online or visit a Cancer Council Retail Store in Brisbane, Bundaberg, Toowoomba, Mackay and the Sunshine Coast.
“Our retail offering includes a wide range of sun protective clothing, sunglasses, hats, sunscreen, accessories, umbrellas, cosmetics and gifts,” Ms McMillan said.
“Queensland has the highest rates of skin cancer in the world – Cancer Council’s products offer the best protection under the sun, meaning you can still head out and enjoy festive fun with confidence.
“Here are our top picks for Christmas – there’s items from our own product range to keep you sun safe, plus a couple of fun options from our community supporters that are available online.”
