Queensland, raise your cups for chari-tea!

Cancer Council Queensland spokesperson Katie Clift asks all Queenslanders to raise their cups in the fight against cancer this May 22, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.

Pop the kettle on and tuck into some delicious morning tea treats – there truly has never been an easier way to make a difference in the fight against cancer!

Thursday May 22 is this year’s official date of Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. Queenslanders will gather in living rooms, community centres, schools and workplaces to help us raise more than $2.5 million for cancer research, education programs and patient support services in 2014.

The cause has never been more important. One in two Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime – around 24,000 people this year alone.

With a cup of tea and a biscuit, you can make a lasting impact in the lives of Queenslanders who will be touched by cancer.

It’s so easy to get involved – you can make a donation, register to host your own Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, or join in with a friend at biggestmorningtea.com.au.

We need your help this May 22 – together, we can beat cancer.
