Online foodies converge on Australia’s Biggest BYO Morning Tea!

Cancer Council Queensland is teeing up with some of Brisbane’s most popular Instagrammers, foodie bloggers and radio personalities this Sunday (May 3) to officially launch Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.

Australia’s Biggest BYO Morning Tea will be held at New Farm Park on May 3 and encourages Instagrammers and bloggers, their followers, community members, friends and families to come together for an InstaMeet morning tea.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea Ambassadors 4KQ News Anchor Jo Hayes, 97.3FM News Anchor Monique Dews and award winning blogger Phoebe Lee of littlegreybox.net will come together with the online community to meet and mingle while supporting a worthwhile cause.

Cancer Council Queensland spokesperson Katie Clift said tea, coffee and food has taken over Instagram, but this May it’ll be for a good cause – Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea launch in Brisbane.

“Intagrammers and bloggers meet all over the world to take and share photos – this InstaMeet is a great way for the community to come together and share their love of morning tea while showing support for all Queenslanders impacted by cancer,” Ms Clift said.

“Come on down and join us at Australia’s Biggest BYO Morning Tea, or register to host your own event this May to show someone you care.

“Follow Cancer Council Queensland on Instagram to keep up-to-date and be sure to use the hashtag #biggestmorningtea and #BiggestBYOMorningTea to help get the word out – everyone is welcome to attend.”

Cancer Council Queensland is calling on Queenslanders to register early to host an Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea, aiming to raise $2.5 million for those affected by cancer.

The official Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea will take place on Thursday, May 28, but hosts can hold morning teas anytime throughout May or June.
