Workplace giving

By participating in Workplace Giving, you have the power to make a tangible impact on the lives of cancer patients. Your contributions directly fund crucial services such as our 13 11 20 help line as well as the services we connect our callers to. These include transport to treatment, accommodation during treatment, wigs, turbans, counselling, professional advice and information, and many other vital services. 

Volunteering

We know life is busy. That’s why we offer flexible volunteer opportunities with hours tailored to your availability. Whether you have a little time to spare, or more to give, you can still get involved. You can participate in short-term events, attend training sessions, contribute your skills to important projects, or engage in team-building exercises. And, with five of our lodges located throughout Queensland, there are plenty of opportunities for you to make a meaningful impact in your local community.

Fundraising

Fundraising not only helps us continue our vital research, prevention and support work, it also creates a positive impact that ripples well beyond your workplace. Workplace fundraising improves your brand’s reputation, increases staff engagement and gives you a fun way to connect with your community. We have several exciting fundraising opportunities throughout the calendar year:

• Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea (May): Join thousands of others across the nation in hosting a morning tea to raise funds for cancer research, prevention, and support services. 
• Daffodil Day (August): On Daffodil Day, you can show your support for cancer patients by purchasing daffodils or merchandise, with all proceeds going towards our important work. 
• Do It For Cancer (Year-Round): Create your own fundraising event or challenge at any time of the year and support our cause in a way that suits you best. 

By participating in any of these events, you become a crucial part of our mission to lead Queenslanders in a partnership against cancer and improve the lives of those affected by it.
