As one of our loyal supporters, you may know that for many patients getting to and from their treatment can be a financial burden.
The great news is that thanks to generous supporters just like you, in 2017 we launched Transport to Treatment in Cairns. This home-to-treatment transport service gives practical assistance to patients struggling to access and afford transport options
Following the success of this regional pilot, phase one of Transport to Treatment was launched in Brisbane Metro in October 2017, followed by the Brisbane North service in July 2018.
Since this initial service launched in Brisbane, our volunteers have assisted cancer patients through 950 bookings, and covered 22,500kms.
