Cancer Council’s Brisbane Retail Store is hosting a mega SunSmart sale this month to help Queenslanders get summer-ready!
The three-day sale will be held from Thursday, November 10 to Saturday, November 12 at CCQ’s Retail Store, 553 Gregory Terrace, Fortitude Valley.
Locals can pick up a range of adult and kids SunSmart clothes, hats, sunscreen and accessories – with a minimum of 15 per cent off storewide and up to 50 per cent off selected apparel*.
The sale also marks the start of extended Christmas trading hours, with the store now open weekdays from 9am-4.30pm and Saturdays from 9am-12pm until December 17.
Cancer Council Queensland spokesperson Katie Clift encouraged locals to head along to the three-day sale to stock up on their sun protective products.
“The good news is that skin cancer remains one of the most preventable types of cancer – it’s imperative to stock up on SunSmart products to reduce your risk of skin cancer.
“Cancer Council products offer the best protection under the sun, meaning you can still head out and enjoy your activities with confidence.
“The much-anticipated three-day sale is also a great chance to get in early and stock up on Christmas presents for the whole family.”
Cancer Council’s Retail Stores offer a wide range of sun protective clothing, sun glasses, hats, sunscreen, accessories, umbrellas, cosmetics and gifts.
“Our stores offer retail therapy for a good cause, with all proceeds invested into cancer research, support and prevention programs in Queensland,” Ms Clift said.
“As we head into summer, it’s vital we’re doing all we can to protect our skin from the harmful effects of the sun.
“We encourage all Queenslanders to Slip on protective clothing, Slop on SPF30 or above broad-spectrum, Slap on a broad-brimmed hat, Seek shade and Slide on wrap-around sunnies, when heading outdoors.”
Free parking is available at CCQ’s Retail Store, 553 Gregory Terrace, Fortitude Valley.
*CCQ’s three-day summer sale excludes the Ugly Xmas Rashie.
