Our latest estimates show that 1.9 million Australians will have a personal history of cancer by 2040; that’s an additional 800,000 people living with or beyond cancer.
However, at least one third of all cancer cases are preventable through healthy lifestyle factors such as quitting smoking, being SunSmart, maintaining a healthy weight through healthy eating and physical activity, and limiting alcohol intake.
