Get involved and help Queenslanders living with cancer by volunteering. Volunteers are the heart of our organisation. Join us to make a greater impact and connect with like-minded people.
Every contribution helps support those living with cancer. Whether a one-off donation or monthly gift, your support ensures funding stability for long-term goals and future generations.
Leave a legacy by including a gift in your Will, starting a tribute page for a loved one, or funding a research grant for early-career cancer researchers driving clinical innovations.
Organise a fundraising event in your community, either as a team or an individual. You can join one of our existing fundraising events or you might like to come up with your own way.
When organisations work together, we can have a greater impact for every Queenslander going through cancer and help amplify our message for all Australians.
However you get involved, you’re making a direct impact on the lives of Queenslanders affected by cancer. See the results of what we’ve all achieved.
1 in 2 Queenslanders will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 85, and we are dedicated to ensuring no one faces cancer alone. Whether you choose to support an existing fundraising initiative or create something entirely new, every contribution brings us closer to achieving this vital goal.
Whether you’re from a workplace, school, or family, this event is your chance to fundraise, celebrate survivors, and remember those we’ve lost to cancer.
Behind every morning tea, every ponytail chopped, and every race run, there’s a Queenslander living with cancer whose life has been made a little bit easier. Here’s how your fundraising helps.
By becoming a fundraiser for Cancer Council Queensland, you’re joining a massive community to help connect all Queenslanders affected by cancer with practical and emotional support services that make a difference!
The Ponytail Project is a school fundraising idea born right here in Queensland, and it’s a fun, impactful way for individuals, teams, and schools to get involved. Grow your hair, rally your community, and when you’re ready, #RockTheChop! By fundraising for cancer support, research, and awareness, you’ll help those affected by cancer, and your ponytail will be donated to make wigs for those experiencing hair loss. It’s an easy, meaningful way to show you care and make a lasting difference!
Last year, more than 23,000 people registered to host a morning tea, raising over $16million for people impacted by cancer. It’s simple and fun: register to host a morning tea and share a cuppa with your colleagues, friends and family to help support and fund our lifesaving research, prevention programs and vital support services.
