Get involved and help Queenslanders living with cancer by volunteering. Volunteers are the heart of our organisation. Join us to make a greater impact and connect with like-minded people.
Every contribution helps support those living with cancer. Whether a one-off donation or monthly gift, your support ensures funding stability for long-term goals and future generations.
Leave a legacy by including a gift in your Will, starting a tribute page for a loved one, or funding a research grant for early-career cancer researchers driving clinical innovations.
Organise a fundraising event in your community, either as a team or an individual. You can join one of our existing fundraising events or you might like to come up with your own way.
When organisations work together, we can have a greater impact for every Queenslander going through cancer and help amplify our message for all Australians.
However you get involved, you’re making a direct impact on the lives of Queenslanders affected by cancer. See the results of what we’ve all achieved.
Sometimes it helps to talk to someone who understands.
When you’re facing cancer, either personally or while supporting someone you love, it can feel overwhelming. Peer support means you don’t have to go through it alone.
Our peer & group support programs, Cancer Connect and Women’s Connect , offer understanding, connection and a safe space to talk with people who have lived through similar experiences.
Whether you’re navigating treatment, adjusting to life after cancer or simply needing someone who just gets it, our trained peer mentors and support groups are here to listen, share and walk alongside you.
Our team is here to listen and support you.
The Cancer Connect program offers free, confidential one-on-one phone support from trained peer mentors who understand what you’re going through.
As part of the program, you’ll be connected with a volunteer peer mentor who has been through their own cancer experience and are here to offer practical tips, emotional support, encouragement and insights.
We welcome people from all backgrounds, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, LGBTQIA+ communities, people living with disabilities and those from diverse cultural backgrounds.

Women’s Connect, proudly funded by Queensland Health, is a peer support program, for women and non-binary people living with cancer across Queensland. It connects participants with others who have a deep understanding of what it’s like to live with cancer.
