Cancer Council Queensland recognises the critical need to generate real-world evidence and translate it into practical solutions to offer the best possible support and information services for Queenslanders. We are proud to support the outstanding population-based research conducted at the Viertel Cancer Research Centre, which is dedicated to improving outcomes for those affected by cancer.

In this report, you will find progress updates made over the past five years in our key priority areas: cancer prevention and screening, meeting the needs of cancer survivors, achieving equity in cancer outcomes, informing, and engaging the community and improving the lives of children with cancer.
