Travel Grants

We offer travel grants to support Health Professionals in their lifelong learning about cancer.

Cancer Council Queensland supports the ongoing professional development of health professionals working in cancer control. Through the annual program of travel grants, funding is provided for health professionals working and or residing in Queensland Australia, to attend conferences in order to learn about best practice in the field of cancer control. Upon their return, this experience will contribute to and lead best practise in cancer control in Queensland.

Cancer Council Queensland is pleased to be offering two travel grants, for eligible applicants to attend the Cancer Nurses Society of Australia Annual Congress 2016. The CNSA Annual Congress will be held from Thursday 12 May, to Saturday 14 May 2016, in Cairns, Australia.

The Travel Grant will support the successful applicant with travel, living expenses and conference registration through a one off grant valued up to $1500 AUD (including GST).

Please download the Travel Grants Application Package for further details including selection criteria, instructions and guidelines.
