Caring for Our Community – Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Worker Course

In 2017 and 2018 Cancer Council Queensland will be providing courses for Queensland based Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people working in the health field.

These two-day courses will include information on cancer and cancer treatment, the prevention, screening and early detection of cancer, and end of life care. Bursaries of up to $700 will be available to assist Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people working in the health field to attend.

Additional courses will be held throughout Queensland between September 2017 and May 2018. To register your interest in attending a future course, please email your name, contact details, organisation and location to communitysupportservices@cancerqld.org.au. When course details are released we will contact you with further information.
