Look Good Feel Better is a free community service program dedicated to teaching cancer patients how to manage the appearance-related side-effects caused by cancer treatment.
Women, men and teens participate in a practical workshop which focuses on practical tips and tricks to help patients overcome temporary changes to their appearance.
The workshop is supported by a team of trained volunteers who present techniques to alleviate symptoms, make-up tips and advice on head-wear.
Cancer Council Queensland is supporting the work of Look Good Feel Better in 2017 to assist in providing these workshops in Queensland.
Each participant receives a Confidence Kit, including an information booklet, skincare and cosmetic products to use as tools for application throughout the workshop and to take home.
Registration is essential via Look Good Feel Better website
