Cancer Council Queensland provides support, information and resources, at no cost, for people throughout Queensland. These services are made possible through the generous donations of Queenslanders and we thank them for their continued support.
We have a variety of resources available which includes easy-to-read information about:
- specific types of cancer
- emotional and practical issues for people with cancer, their families and friends
- early detection and reducing cancer risk
- Cancer Council Queensland support services.
These resources are intended to complement information from health-care professionals.
Each of our resources are regularly reviewed by cancer experts so you can be confident that you are receiving the most up to date information.
For a wider range of culturally and linguistically specific resources view the CALD Cancer Resource Directory. This directory, run by Cancer Council Australia, is a searchable online library of 600 publications, videos, and websites, and provides a wide range of translated cancer information, including prevention, treatment, and support. The directory was designed to provide a single point of access to cancer resources in Australia published in languages other than English.
